This adorable candle is a cattail stalk dipped in black beeswax and topped with calendula, chaparral, orange granules and a putka pod.
The best way to light this candle it. to hold the herb side facing down with a match or lighter to it. It may take a few minutes to burn through the herb and wax, but once the wick (the cattail!) catches, the torch begins its flaming magic!
There is a 3-4 inch stalk for you to hold as you partake in the ritual of burning the Autumn Cattail Torch. You may also trim the stalk off and place the cattail in a burn safe dish surrounded by water (so burning herbs can be safely doused).
Each Autumn Cattail Torch is unique in its width and length, but they tend to be within 1/4"-1/2" circumference and 6-10 inches long.
This is an interactive candle and should never be left unattended.
Once the stalk catches fire, the flame is bright and strong (hence the name "Torch"). These torches burn approximately 10 minutes per inch and vary in width because... nature!
